🎯 The Role

Caterpillar is looking for a Lead Software Engineer - UI to join its Technology, Digital and Data team in Bangalore or Chennai. You'll design, develop and maintain software applications using agile methods, with a strong focus on graphics-heavy frontend development. You'll work closely with clients to understand requirements, automate workflows and ensure software quality through automated testing.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• ReactJS, HTML, CSS, ThreeJS (mandatory)
• WebGL programming (good to have)
• Python, API development, AWS, MySQL (good to have)

💼 What You'll Do

• Design, modify, develop and implement software applications for target systems using agile methods
• Acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization
• Write source code for new applications and enhance code samples for existing applications
• Utilize automated testing tools for testing and maintenance

✅ What You'll Need

• Mandatory: ReactJS, HTML, CSS, ThreeJS and hands-on graphics development
• Extensive experience in software development and software product design/architecture
• Working knowledge of the software development life cycle and integration engineering
• Strong decision making, critical thinking and communication skills

🌟 Nice to Have

• Python, API development, AWS, MySQL and WebGL programming

This position requires working onsite five days a week in Bangalore or Chennai.
