🎯 The Role

Cvent’s R&D organization is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Microapps team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of modular frontend systems that empower product engineering teams to build world-class enterprise SaaS applications. You will champion frontend best practices, mentor engineers, and guide the strategic integration of AI-assisted development tools across the software development lifecycle.

💼 What You'll Do

• Architect resilient, scalable microapps solutions that address complex enterprise workflows and user needs.
• Develop clean, maintainable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and GraphQL within an Nx monorepo.
• Collaborate closely with Scrum teams to scope, estimate, implement, test, and release platform features predictably.
• Lead by example in engineering quality, establishing architectural patterns and conducting thoughtful code reviews.
• Mentor engineers across the team on modern frontend patterns, testing methodologies, and career growth.
• Spearhead the practical adoption of AI-augmented development tooling and automation agents across the team.

✅ What You'll Need

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Proven experience leading an engineering team and guiding technical direction.
• Solid understanding of fullstack development, including backend APIs with GraphQL, Node.js, or Java.
• Hands-on experience developing modular UI architectures and working with distributed teams.
• Practical experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (such as Copilot or ChatGPT) to elevate engineering workflows.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with the ability to prototype rapidly in an Agile environment.
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical industry experience.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Production experience with Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Working knowledge of Nrwl/Nx workspace tooling and monorepo architectures.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines.
