🎯 The Role
As a Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack) on the Personalization & Loyalty Squad, you will lead the architecture, engineering, and continuous optimization of customer-facing ecommerce journeys. You will spearhead modern web frontends built on React and Next.js, while collaborating with platform squads on Node.js microservices, GraphQL APIs, and real-time customer personalization pipelines.

💼 What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of scalable personalization and loyalty experiences across web channels
- Build, optimize, and maintain high-throughput web frontends utilizing React and Next.js
- Integrate personalization capabilities including targeted product recommendations, custom promotions, and loyalty modules
- Establish frontend engineering standards, architectural guidelines, and automated testing practices
- Partner with UX Design, Product Management, Marketing, and Analytics teams to turn business goals into intuitive digital products
- Design robust GraphQL schema contracts and Node.js backend integrations with ecommerce platform systems
- Provide technical mentorship to engineers, guide architectural trade-offs, and participate in incident resolution and root-cause analysis
✅ What You'll Need
- 8+ years of full-stack software development experience with heavy emphasis on frontend architecture and consumer-facing applications
- Advanced mastery of React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS/SCSS styling methodologies
- Thorough understanding of SSR/CSR rendering models, client-side caching, web performance, and SEO best practices
- Proven background integrating GraphQL and RESTful backend microservices in Node.js
- Demonstrated track record of technical leadership, mentoring team members, and guiding technical solution design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent engineering experience
🌟 Nice to Have
- Prior experience building scalable ecommerce platforms or loyalty and rewards systems
- Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP) or customer data platforms (CDP)
- Experience working with event-driven data streaming and real-time customer personalization engines
