🎯 The Role

We are seeking a visionary Lead Frontend Developer to take ownership of the entire frontend ecosystem at QuinStreet. This pivotal hybrid role in Pune involves leading the design, development, and delivery of highly scalable, user-centric React applications. You will drive engineering excellence, define architectural standards, and mentor a talented team of frontend engineers, ensuring the creation of robust, high-performance web solutions aligned with strategic business goals.

💼 What You'll Do

• Define, implement, and evolve scalable frontend architecture using React, establishing best practices and coding standards.
• Lead hands-on development of robust, production-grade React applications, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor, guide, and grow a team of frontend engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive performance and operational excellence, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring adherence to testing and quality standards.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 5 years hands-on in React.js.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend architecture and design.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and modern React concepts (Hooks, Context API).
• Expertise in integrating with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization, responsive design, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with micro-frontends or building scalable frontend platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exposure to mobile app development, particularly React Native.
• Prior experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
