🎯 The Role
TransitionZero's interface team is hiring a Frontend Engineer in London (hybrid) to help shape Scenario Builder — a greenfield codebase built with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend practices. You'll build data-heavy interfaces, interactive visualisations, and AI-powered capabilities, working closely with product, design, backend, AI engineers, and energy specialists.

💼 What You'll Do
- Deliver frontend features from implementation through to release
- Build Scenario Builder capabilities using React and TypeScript
- Implement data tables, filtering workflows, virtualised lists, and interactive visualisations
- Contribute reusable, composable components and performance-optimised patterns
- Diagnose and fix bugs, usability issues, and performance problems in production
✅ What You'll Need
- 3+ years building production frontend applications with TypeScript and modern React
- Experience with data-heavy interfaces: tables, filtering, forms, interactive visualisations
- Frontend performance fundamentals: profiling, reducing unnecessary renders, large datasets
- Client-side data management patterns (TanStack Query or similar)
- Frontend tests across the testing pyramid
- Accessible, reusable UI components with headless libraries and utility-first CSS
