🎯 The Role

Stripe is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Payments organization. This role involves building consumer-focused user interfaces and full-stack products that will directly impact thousands of employees and millions of Stripe users, including end-users, developers, and partners. You will be instrumental in shaping next-generation payment experiences and contributing to Stripe's core mission.

💼 What You'll Do

• Take end-to-end ownership of problems, working across a diverse range of systems, processes, and technologies.
• Design and implement elegant APIs and user experiences that empower merchants to scale their businesses on Stripe.
• Develop new products and features, such as creating fast and seamless checkout flows, impacting millions globally.
• Innovate and explore creative opportunities for advanced payment experiences leveraging Stripe's deep payment technology.
• Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including product managers, designers, infrastructure teams, marketing, and operations.
• Develop and execute both short-term and long-term roadmaps, making strategic tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability.
• Maintain high engineering standards and promote consistency across multiple codebases and processes.

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with a strong focus on modern frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React, and a proven track record of building delightful user interfaces.
