They provide POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics and Inventory Management in a single solution, eliminating the need for multiple third-party tools. The company has been on the market for 7 years and has a global development team of over 200 people.

🎯 The Role

Sweed is looking for a Frontend Engineer (React) to join their globally distributed team. You will work on cross-functional product teams to build and evolve features across store and cashier domains, refactor legacy code, and improve architecture incrementally. The role involves participating in product discussions, mentoring, and contributing to shared UI/core libraries. AI tools are a first-class part of the daily workflow.

• Core: React 19, TypeScript, CSS Modules
• State Management: Redux, TanStack Query
• Testing: Playwright, Vitest + Testing Library
• Tooling: Vite, Storybook, ReactRouter 7, Zod, OpenAPI, MFE, Monorepo
• AI: Claude, Codex, and similar tools for coding, reviews, refactoring, debugging, and documentation

💼 What You'll Do

• Participate in product discussions, planning, and technical design
• Build and evolve features across store and cashier domains
• Refactor legacy code and improve architecture incrementally
• Review pull/merge requests and mentor where helpful
• Contribute to shared UI/core libraries used across portal and POS apps
• Use AI tools effectively - write good prompts, build skills/agents/automations, and keep humans in the loop on quality

✅ What You'll Need

• 4+ years of frontend experience in a product company
• Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals
• Comfortable with Redux (or similar) and async data layers (TanStack Query / SWR / RTK Query)
• Solid testing habits (unit + E2E)
• Engineering mindset — pragmatic trade-offs, attention to performance, accessibility, and DX
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalents) and a thoughtful approach to where they help vs. where they need oversight

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience writing custom agents/skills/MCP integrations, OpenAPI-driven codegen, observability tooling, or working in a large legacy codebase under refactor
• Proactivity, critical thinking, and adaptability
