🎯 The Role

1Password is hiring an Intermediate (Mid-level) Frontend Developer to join its growing Device Security team. While 1Password has historically secured credentials and application access, the Device Security initiative expands that mission to the physical and virtual machines where work happens.

In this role, you will build administrative dashboards, policy configuration screens, and compliance workflows that help enterprise security administrators easily understand device health, detect vulnerabilities, and enforce protective controls.

💼 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain administrative web interfaces for enterprise customers, including device compliance dashboards and policy configuration tools.
• Develop intuitive, accessible interfaces that transform complex device security signals into clear, actionable administrator workflows.
• Contribute to the ground-up technical architecture of the newly established Device Security product initiative.
• Participate in collaborative engineering practices including technical planning discussions, architecture reviews, pair programming, and automated testing.
• Thoughtfully leverage AI-assisted development tools across coding, testing, and component review routines.

✅ What You'll Need

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated ability to develop clean, modular, and maintainable frontend components for complex enterprise requirements.
• Understanding of client-side performance, state management, and optimization for applications serving large user bases.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Curiosity, strong technical judgment, and a commitment to continuous learning.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Familiarity with systems languages such as Rust or Go.
• Experience contributing to composable, token-driven design systems.
• Prior domain experience in device management (MDM), enterprise administration, or cybersecurity platforms.
