🎯 The Role
As a Design Engineer, you will bridge the divide between product design and engineering at Replit. You will take ownership of the technical implementation and evolution of the Replit UI design system, build prototypes for new interaction paradigms, and ensure every interface across the product meets the highest bar of aesthetic polish and performance.

💼 What You'll Do

- 8+ years of frontend engineering experience with a strong design sensibility

- Deep understanding of design systems, reusable UI architecture, and design token pipelines
- Proven skill in implementing complex UI animations and fluid interactive states
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical feasibility with visual design intent
- Solid foundation in web accessibility (a11y) standards and responsive UI patterns
