🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will join a team of talented engineers to build and scale Weave’s desktop clients. You will have the opportunity to grow your technical skills while working on high-impact features that directly affect how customers interact with the platform. This is a fully remote position reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager.

• TypeScript & React
• Redux for state management
• NW.js / Electron for desktop applications
• Sentry & Storybook
• Testing with Jest and Cypress.io

💼 What You'll Do

• Build features for desktop clients using web technologies like TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
• Contribute to underlying platforms and core libraries to ensure system consistency
• Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers in an agile environment
• Take responsibility for the long-term quality and maintenance of the codebase
• Pitch in across the team to help achieve goals and support an autonomous culture

✅ What You'll Need

• 2+ years of professional experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and web technologies
• 2+ years of experience with modern frameworks like React or Angular
• Experience building high-performance, reusable UI components
• Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs and debugging complex frontend issues
• A proactive mindset and passion for staying updated with web platform trends

🌟 Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with NW.js or Electron
• Familiarity with performance tuning and benchmarking
• Experience with automated testing using Jest and Cypress
