Their ecosystem spans open hardware tools like ESPHome, open connectivity standards (Matter, Z-Wave JS, ZigPy), and open voice technologies (Piper, Rhasspy).
🎯 The Role
This is a full-time remote position for a Frontend Engineer based in Europe, joining the Home Assistant core team. You won't be building marketing sites — Home Assistant is a sophisticated, real-time progressive web application that manages hundreds of live data and control points simultaneously. Think dynamic dashboards, bidirectional WebSocket communication, and installable cross-platform experiences used by millions. You'll work on complex, stateful UI challenges in a community-driven open-source environment.
